The Incandescent – An internationally touring rock band from the Pacific Northwest with members Collin Johnson, Ryan Armstrong, Zach Wright, Shane Collins, and Andrew McArdle. In late 2010 The Incandescent started as a collaborative project between Armstrong & McArdle. It became clear in 2011 that the group was meant to be more than a quintet in their hometown. In the years since the band has gone on to perform a plethora of concerts with many great artists. They recently performed on the main-stages of Creation NW, New Life Festival, & Dove Fest.
The Incandescent kicked off the 2016 touring season with a run of shows with Crowder quickly becoming a favorite with the veteran artist's fans. The band is also in the process of branching out of the Northwest. In fall 2015 the team was invited to perform at Spirit Fest Corpus Christi and Spirit Fest Austin, two highly attended festivals in the state of Texas. The band entertained new people in a close and relational environment, staking their claim in the hearts of music fans in South-central Texas.
This group of musicians is all-about fostering relationships with fans and promoters which have proven fruitful, in opening doors to perform with many of today's leading artists. In 2016 the band supported: Switchfoot, MercyMe, For King & Country, Matt Maher, Jeremy Camp, Family Force 5, Andy Mineo and many others. In addition to keeping a vibrant tour schedule The Incandescent has kept a bi-yearly release schedule for their records. To date the band has released four recordings: Planting Bulbs - 2012, The Incandescent EP - 2014, Undiscovered and Live From The PNW - 2016. The team is currently in the process of writing a full length studio project for which a release date has not been set.
It is important to note that as of this update The Incandescent was nominated and won a "We Love Award" in the Next Big Thing category. They accepted and performed at the awards show in Nashville, TN Feb 7th 2017. That performance can be viewed in a video below.

"Its easy to get lost in an ocean of independent music. Even when you sort out every band by genre, you still have a lot to wade through before you're likely to find greatness. But while you're treading through the waves of indie rock & roll, take a moment to give The Incandescent a chance. They're heading in a good direction and I wouldn't be surprised to hear more from them in the future, but on a larger scale. For any inquiring fans their Undiscovered EP is the perfect place to start listening" - Scott Fryberger | JesusFreakHideout.com

"It was a privilege to have The Incandescent out for our show. The guys were all amazing! I have worked with others in the past who were not as easy to work with as The Incandescent. Everything was great from the time they showed up to the time they left. It was a blessing to have them out. We definitely will be looking forward to having them out again!" - Jerry Beckham | Peter Furler Managment
